In personal news, I’ve been into fashion lately and started an experiment to try out and log a new outfit every day for the past few months. I recently launched my fits stream in an experiment to reclaim my data from third-party platforms and showcase it in a personal, homey way on my website. I’ve been really interested in the freedom that personal websites provide for authentic expression and these streams of live, evolving items to share a continuous slice of your life publicly. I’ve been feeling a sense of unease lately with where I want to be and where I am. It’s actually a sign of how far I’ve come. Whereas the goal seemed unrealistic where I first started, now it feels like it’s in actual reach, and I want to fast forward to the point where I’m actually able to snatch it. But for now, I need to keep doing what I’m doing and take one step at a time towards that unreachable star.
